Scores were distributed: Howell's Requiem and the two Vaughn William's pieces "Lord, Thou has been our refuge" and "O Praise the Lord of Heaven"

Lovely Jess aka tofumidgit, will have a Russian diction tape available via Musica Russica on our http://notes.capitolhillchorale.com this week to help with Rach. [Editor's note: I'm workin' on it.]

Altos will have sectionals every Tuesday prior to rehearsal in the side room of Reformation starting at 7:00 pm.- we will drill passages. 1/9 reviewed Rach No. 15 and 14. Thank you to Leanne for piano work.

Sunday rehearsal will be at Marian Connolly's house on 8th St, SE 3:30-5:00 pm., Sunday February 11, 2006. Refreshments will be served.

CHC sings Chorus 2 throughout. Phillip Cave is conducting this piece and will focus on diction. Fred will audition in 2-3 weeks for the Semi-Chorus parts.

Highlight and number measures in the music, it will make it easier to find the line you are singing.

Do not sing through the rests. Pronounce the "P" in the word Praise throughout. Watch dynamic markings throughout.
