Rachmaninoff No. 12:
- m14, SIs cut off on the quarter note, SIIs hold
- m37, need more C from the SIIs
- m43, don't sing too mechanically, SIs need more separation on the D
- m68, keep the G on top of the pitch
- m71, need more effective decresc
- pull back more on all piano markings
- m75, SIIs need to tune the D (but I think this will be a general rule for all of us during the three-part sections)

- m106, needs to be drier; a little more separation
- m43-65, staccato until m66 when change to cantabile

- m42, end at piano
- m95, don't lose the rhythm here
- mark all accents throughout
- m74, Fred will give the downbeat and then we come right in

No.11:
- m44, remember A natural here
- m79, change in key
- roll "r"s throughout

Howells:
- we sing Choir II
Movement I
- m3, the eighth note hold is just meant to clear the texture
- quarter note will remain the same
- m24, "s" off on 4, don't over-stress this cutoff
- m9, cresc mf to f
- m16, connect redeem-ed, not punchy
- m21, break up the "s" between "us" and "save" - no ellision
- m12, B natural, not Bb
Movement III
- m5, cut off end of 4, make room for next measure
- perpetua pronounced with short e sound, not long e

We'll be going over Movements 9 and 10 on Tuesday. Remember to arrive early to find parking because of the State of the Union. Hope to see most of you Saturday!
