Benefit for a new classical music festival

First, WETA restores its classical music format. Now, news that a classical music festival is being launched on July 14 on the grounds of the newly restored Bedford Springs Hotel in Bedford, PA. To kickoff the festival, a benefit is being held featuring a weekend at the hotel and two concerts by The Empire Brass. The weekend package at the hotel will include a double room for Friday and Saturday nights, dinner on Saturday night, and concert tickets for Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon. The cost is $750, tax-deductible to the extent of the law. Nancy MacRae (ex-Capitol Hill resident, CHC supporter, and the organizer of the Festival) is seeking the names and addresses of people interested in receiving an invitation to the benefit—no obligation to buy. The Bedford Springs Resort, just over two hours from Washington, is noted for its 1920s Donald Ross golf course and a 13,000 square foot spa; the URL is http://www.bedfordspringsresort.com.
