REMINDER: we will rehearse with Phillip this Saturday, March 3rd from 9:30 to 11. Please try to come if you can. It will allow us more time on the Rachmaninoff next week.

Vaughan Williams:
- p.11, last bar will have 3 beats of note and 1 beat of rest
- bottom p.12, no breath
- bottom p.15, C natural, not C#
- p.15, breath after 1st "Him" but not 2nd
Howells:
Movement V
- m5, espressivo, don't hit the "re" too hard
- m17, "s" off on the eighth
- m26, keep tongue down on "pe"
Movement IV
- m3, lighter sound, more sparkle
- m21, watch the pickup rhythm
Rachmaninoff:
No. 7
- m11, lifts after each "slava"
- m13, louder
- m18-19, no breath
No. 15
- m31, accents on "raduysia"
No. 5
- m27, back away from the B
- m25, higher on F
- from m28 on, much softer; need to be able to hear Ken
- m23, hit this note then back away; previously we were hitting softly and then crescendoing in
No. 4
- m34, Fred will cut off the tenors but we hold
- end, no 'plosive "t"
We also went over Movement II, but I have no notes for that.
