CHAW seeks mural artists
Know any artists? CHAW has
issued a call for artists to apply for a grant to paint a mural for the
Community Foundation Capitol Hill School Libraries Project. Moira
Connolly, Director of Programs and Administration, writes:
CHAW is partnering
with the School Libraries Project to solicit and select artwork (murals
specifically) for the three Capitol Hill public school libraries that have
been renovated. (SLP is renovating the libraries in 8 Capitol Hill public
middle and elementary schools; 3 have been completed.)All of the information is contained in the Call, so please pass this on to any groups, listservs, or artists that you know. I'd love to have a large pool of applicants from which to draw!
