an update on market donations from one of the CHAW board members
The Capitol Hill Community Foundation is accepting online
donations at http://www.capitolhillcommunityfoundation.org/about/contribute.html.
If you click on the donate online link at the bottom, it will direct you to a
site called Touchdc.org where you can quickly and easily use a credit card to
donate to the fund. (Touch DC is part of Network for Good, a legitimate donation processing system.) You have to write "Eastern Market: Keep it Going" in the
"designation" box. There is a credit card processing fee (which you have the option of paying or forwarding to the organization). The same
group is having a fundraiser at Marty's on Wednesday evening, where you can
donate in person.
