Volunteers needed Saturday Morning (just an hour or two)

From Jim Travis:
I wanted to remind all Capitol Hill Choralers about an opportunity to volunteer several hours of time this Saturday morning to help out in a very important outreach activity with our supporters in the community - getting our annual mailing out the door.

Every year, we mail several thousand of our friends and supporters a brochure describing the coming performance season as well as a formal request asking our supporters to continue giving generously to fund our operations.  This mailing helps us generate much needed financial resources and the help we get every year stuffing envelopes from CHC volunteers like you critical to our success.
My goal is to have at least 15 CHC'ers help out this weekend.
Here are the details:
WHEN:           Saturday, November 10th  10:00am-1:00pm
WHERE:  Capitol Hill Presbyterian Church -- 201 4th Street, SE (Corner of 4th & Independence Avenue, SE)
Enter at Southside of the church closest to Pennsylvania Avenue - downstairs to basement entrance.
WHAT:           Be prepared to participate in an assembly line envelope stuffing process that would make Henry Ford proud.
PERKS:  Music will be provided (I have about 90 gigs on the i-pod, you name it, you'll hear it) as well as breakfast pastries
and lunch (I will be taking orders from Chinese and Mexican restaurants around the corner).
RSVP:           Please contact Jim Travis at:  james.k.travis@monsanto.com  if you will be able to help out this Saturday

ONE MORE THING:
Some CHC'ers will be arriving early around 9:00am to move our risers, which have been stored at the Presbyterian Church, back to Reformation.  We could use as many able bodies and SUV's/Trucks as possible.  Please contact Chris McGahey via e-mail at: cmcgdc@yahoo.com  if you are able to help out.
